Finding your Roots Retreat July 17-20, 2025

We are excited to offer the competitive pricing of $950 for the entire July 17-20, 2025 retreat.  We will meet at the Surya Chandra Center on Thursday, July 17 from 6-9p, Friday July 18 from 9a-4p, Saturday July 19 from 9a-4p and Sunday from 9a-12p The Retreat includes all activities all of the days and unlimited access to the property and gardens.  Supples needed for all activities are also included.  We are thrilled that Trellis Catering will be providing our beautifully prepared vegan gluten free food that will help restore our bodies during the healing process.  All meals are included except for dinner on Friday and Saturday.   Thursday, Friday and Saturday night are times to replenish at the Dundee Hotel or many other nearby sanctuary style accommodations and either explore the Willamette Valley on your own or with your new friends from the Retreat.

We are partnering with The Dundee Hotel which is a small boutique hotel 20 minutes and a beautiful drive through the Willamette Valley wineries and agricultural country.  You may view their beautiful rooms and pricing here.

There are many other sanctuary style accommodation options to fit every need and budget in our favorite nearby areas of Carlton and Dundee.  

Our beautiful and healing vegan and gluten free meals are being prepared for us by Trellis Catering with sample menus to follow!

We recommend a number of restaurants  with your new friends from The FindingYourRoots Retreat or for exploration on your own.  We love Cuvee in Carlton and Tina's in Dundee.  We also recommend The Horseradish in Carlton for more casual dining and live music!  There are also many dining options at The Dundee Hotel where we have reserved a block of rooms for our guests of the Retreat.

 The purpose of this Retreat is to heal traumas related to experiences that the adoption community has sustained and to foster for all participants a sense of vitality, aliveness, joy and sustenance such that they may from this point forward lead their richest and best lives.  

The Retreat will allow its participants time and space to come together with other members of the adoption community in this beautiful place to recover and rebuild.  It will allow us to find in Nature and in the power of our community what the healing process is. It will connect us into our abilities of being healthy and strong, loved and capable of loving, worthy and valued, and whole.

We will be employing many healing modalities found in our book Pulled By The Root to include yoga, many forms of meditation, labyrinth walking and ceremony, journeying and more.
